Meet us on the ESSEI TecDay 2015
Embedded Office, Business, Events
In cooperation with Lynx Software Technologies Embedded Office takes part at the ESSEI TecDay. The ESSEI TecDay is supposed to intensify the exchange on latest developments and research in the field of software engineering for avionics. The topics include improvements in the development process, technological issues in hardware and software and the certification process.
Mark Pitchford will discuss how the use of a separation kernel hypervisor (SKH) can minimize safety and security concerns surrounding multicore processors. He will argue that such technology can provide the levels of safety and security demanded by the highest DALs, yielding significant benefits in terms of hardware simplicity, and therefore lower space, weight, power and cost (SWAP-c). Finally, he will outline how such technology can yield similar benefits for less critical applications where certification may not be such a pressing issue.
It will take part at the 13th and 14th of October in Gilching.
