Safety-critical Software

We originally started our career in aviation so we have already conducted some projects according to the DO-178B standard. But our company has also developed software components for use in devices which are developed in line with the IEC61508 SIL2 standard.

Projects

In the process of bringing projects to fruition, we can leverage our experiences in all phases of development. Subsystems and reusable components for safety-critical applications have originated with us. For example:

• Nose gear (subsystem, level D)
• CAN data loader (reusable components, level C)
• Rudder (partitioning and maintenance system, level D)
• Landing airbrakes (complete system, level A and C)
• Climate system (involved in the development team, level B and D)

Certifications

Apart from the projects that we have been involved in, and as such naturally conducted the activities required for the certification, we have also handled full-scale certifications through our company:

• Partitioning system
• Aircraft motor control

Across industries, the development of safety-critical software is playing a central role in embedded systems increasingly more often. We have thus also been able to incorporate our experiences into the automotive industry and the industry automation sector.
